ISPF Line Commands and TSO commands that reference data set names may be “blocked” on
a data set list screen generated by the DSLIST command or option 3.4. This simplifies issuing
commands against multiple, consecutive data sets.

To select a block mark the first data set with // and then use // to complete the block. The
command must follow either the beginning // or ending //, but not both.

Supported commands include:
Line commands (D – Delete, E – Edit, etc),
TSO Commands
• REXX or CLIST program execution.
• IDCAMS – LISTCAT, DELETE, etc.
• DFSMSHSM – HDELETE, HRECALL, etc.
